Things 1-6

Hey All!
Just had to share a quick picture of my K team from yesterday! We had t-shirts made thanks to Cheri's awesome husband Todd. They turned out soooo cute!

The kids had a great time becoming "Thing 1" and "Thing 2" yesterday. They played the part a little too well. Must be due to the upcoming snowstorm we're supposed to get tonight. Yikes! I hope it doesn't hinder Wacky Wednesday tomorrow!

Today we're reading Fox in Socks while we show off our silly socks. Then, the Foot Book! We'll be measuring our feet using nonstandard objects and then measuring objects with our feet. We'll be making a "guess who" class foot book as well!

    1. Thanks, Shannon! The "thing hat" idea came from Pinterest...of course! :)

  2. Miss sheyna! Totally love the thing shirts....Cheri's hubby could take orders from all the k teachers in the district!! We're making the hats on Friday...just happens to be our RED day. Did you use 12x18 paper or bulletin board paper? I have bb paper ready to go thinking the 12x18 wouldn't fit on their heads!

    1. He gave us a fantastic deal, too!
How perfect that you have a RED day to work with this week!
I stapled two pieces of 9 x 12 construction paper together. Bulletin board paper would be fun though because it would have a lot of movement!
